"Vegetation #3"
A painting created entirely with fruits and veggies

Title: "Vegetation #3"

Size/support: Acrylic on 18" X 24" studio-wrapped, stretched canvas

Work date: 2008

Edges are staple-free and painted blue/white. COA included; signed and dated on the front & reverse. Finished with 2 coats of clear gloss varnish.

This is the third offering in this series. The paint was applied directly onto my delicious painting instruments, which were then pressed onto the canvas as a transfer or used as a narrow brush (as the carrot-tips were utilized.) This process continued until I was pleased with the final composition of the floral theme. This series is intended to be whimsical and fun (and an interesting conversation piece).
